Dev's Comments

"Acclaim Games announces a free, totally brutal massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) designed specifically for adult gamers. Bearing the tagline: “No mercy for the weak, no pity for the dying, no tears for the slain.” 2Moons was created to be an easy to get into game set in an aggressive, dangerous and visually stunning world. This M-Rated title is targeted at those looking for an adrenaline soaked experience and aimed squarely at players looking to kick ass for free!"

Character Development

You can choose to be any of the following: Azure Knight, Segita Hunter, Incar Magician, Vicious Summoner, Segnale or Bagi Warrior. You can choose your starting point to be at Braiken Castle or Loa Castle,Your character levels up during his journey in Haran, for every level-up 5 stat points are given, you can then distribute them between Power, Dexterity, Constitution and Spirit.

Social/Guild Structure

You may choose to party with other players to complete quests or fight enemies. There is also a guild system where you can create or join a guild and wear a unique tag/symbol showing your allegiance for that guild.

Combat/Skills

The arcade style fighting system in the game lets you dive right in and go hand to hand with some very impressive enemies. Each character class has it's own skills you may take a skill tree differently according to mastery.

Depending on your weapons, you may be able to complete combo attacks between 2 and 5 hits. Damage increases with each successive combo hit. If your current opponent has been defeated while executing a combo, attacking a nearby enemy will continue the combo. Various weapons have different attack speeds. Some are faster than others.

Character Death Penalty
Your character will die when its HP reaches 0. The character will be resurrected at the point determined as the resurrection point, which may vary if the player is in PK mode or if the player has changed the resurrection location with an NPC.

Quests

There is a questing system within 2Moons and you have quest log to keep track of the quests you are currently on. Quest NPC's have a scroll above their head. The rewards from commissioned quests are divided into fixed rewards consisting of adventure points and random rewards consisting of some combination of items, Exp points, and/or DIL. Sometimes you will receive only one of these items. You can repeat any quest as long as you meet its level requirements. You can only begin Commissioned Quests and receive rewards by using the bulletin boards in Parka Shrine and Draco Desert Village. The Commissioner NPC does not give quests or rewards. Adventure points obtained from commissioned quests can be used in many areas of 2Moons.

PvP

Siege battles involve large-scale combat to gain control of Genoa Castle and become the absolute ruler of the land, these are initiated by guild leaders.

General PvP
Helion (Good): A character with 0 inclination is a Helion. Helion names are displayed in white letters.
Niete (Evil): A character with 1 or more inclination points is Niete and their name will display in red letters.
Battle Status: Battle Status occurs for 30 seconds after a Helion player attacks another Helion player, or a player already in Battle Status. Killing a player in Battle Status does not increase inclination points.

Killing characters in Battle Status mode or Niete (Evil) players does not increase your inclination score. Killing a Helion (Good) player increases your inclination by one point. You automatically become Niete (Evil) if your inclination score is above zero. Inclination score decreases over time, inclination also decreases if you kill monsters appropriate to your character's level.

When you attack a Helion (Good) user, you will be in Battle Status mode for 30 seconds. A player in Battle Status mode can be attacked by other users as if he or she was Niete. Your inclination does not increase if you kill a player in Battle Status mode. If you do not kill any Hellion players, your Niete status will slowly reduce.

You cannot PK anyone who is in a party with you, regardless of their status. If you buff or heal a party member who is Niete or who is in Battle Status mode, your character also goes into Battle Status. You cannot buff or heal a Niete player if you are not in the same party.

PK Penalties
You cannot use teleportation from items or from NPCs.
Niete players cannot purchase items from shops.
When you are respawned, you do not appear at the normal respawn point but at a special Niete respawn area.
Guards will attack you on sight
When a Niete player dies, he/she will be respawned in the prison. To get out of prison, you must have zero inclination points. Regular players can visit the prison, but they are separated from imprisoned players. The Bail System allows you to pay DIL to the NPC jailor to lower your inclination points and get out of prison sooner.

Lore

They called it The Corruption, those charged with the telling of the story. When the two moons aligned, the exiled king, Rictus, bid his magician open the gate and unleash the pestilence of the Pitborn and their dark ruler Abaddon upon Haran, The Immortal Land.....more...

Additional Information

The game was released in it's full and completed state free to play, with no cost for the client download or a subscription to pay, the game is funded mostly by advertising in game (which the player is permitted to turn off if they wish). The remaining funding is provided by an Item Mall which allows players to purchase in game items.

Instance dungeons offer individual adventure spaces for a player or party. Instance Dungeons have time limits, anyone still in the dungeon when the time runs out is sent back to the original area. These instances also have level requirements.
