"2029 Online a skill based epic Sci-fi MMORPG that was 3 years in the making. The game designers spent that time crafting a simple idea into a challenging gaming masterpiece. Being the first of anything is pretty historic, but since the day this game was released it's been taking the fight right to the competition. Two titles for being the first sci-fi MMORPG classic and becoming a leader in many MMO feature categories is only the beginning.

-First MMORPG with a good amount of 3 Corridors, RTS and RPG elements thrown into the mix
-First MMO game launched with a Fighting Vehicle DIY and auto leveling system
-Quick and versatile location design
-Filled with tightly plotted instanced dungeons
-A powerful mercenary system and a unique guild system

Any one of these would make a game good, but put them all together and you have a game that will keep you captivated for hours at a time."

Character Development

Choose to be one of three races in 2029 Online, Human, Dryad or Electric Elf. Players level a character up by killing monsters or beasts and/or by completing quests. Your character will obtain one skill point each time it levels up. You can distribute the skill point to any skill available to your race and level.

Rebirth - Rebirth is classified into three grades and can be done when players level-up from level 80 to 84, level 85 to 89 and hit level 90. Based on the different rebirth grades, the attributes and skill points gained after rebirth are Rebirth G1 = receive 30% bonus attributes and additional 9 skill points. Rebirth G2 = receive 40% bonus attributes and additional 12 skill points. Rebirth G3 = receive 60% bonus attributes and additional 18 skill points.

Players can be reborn only when the level requirements for rebirth are met (level 80+). All reborn players are allowed to make a new choice of character, class and profession. (reborn players can still have old characters in their accounts but can't be reborn with these old characters. New characters after rebirth can also be reborn (up to 5 times)once the qualifications are met. New characters have their names displayed together with a rebirth icon. Reborn players will top all ranking lists. Reborn players will be hailed when your new characters enters a new scene.

Social/Guild Structure

Players can choose to play solo or join up with other players to form a party for completing harder quests and instances. There is a guild and friends system in 2029 Online too, and the comprehensive chat system allows you choose between talking 1-2-1, to your party, to your guild mates, to players on your friends list, to other people in the same area as you, or to the entire world.

2029 Online has an in game auction system allowing players to sell items either for a designated amount of gold or allowing the item to go to the highest bidder. Although if you don't want to try your hand at the auction house and you'd prefer to trade your item(s) with another character for an agreed price (ie another item) then there is a safe trading system provided.

Guilds - When you reach Level 20, you can create your own guild, this costs 50,000 gold. The guild system in 2029 Online is very comprehensive and opens a wide range of new facets to the game play. There are 10 levels of guild members including Guild Leader, Deputy Leader,Administrator, Hard Core, Guild Backbone, Elite, Parliament Member, Senior Member, Junior Member, and Novice Member. Each level of guild member has corresponding rights. The Guild Leader can change each guild member's rights. The leader can also disband the guild, edit the guild bulletin, appoint guild quests, enhance guild science and even apply to join the Siege War.

A guild can obtain exp and level up just like the character. After upgrading, a guild will be able to recruit more guild members (max 120), research higher level science, and attack a higher level city. Guild experience can be gained after guild members finish a guild quest, by occupying a city for one day or after it finishes researching a science.

Combat/Skills

Just double click a monster to attack it. Once the battle begins, you can’t move any more, or the attack will be interrupted. Also, to save time, you can open the Auto Attack function. Double clicking a monster or beast will make your character move to the enemy and begin a melee attack, drag your skills to the shortcut key bar so that they are easier to use in battle.

Crafting Professions

Rather than having your character choose a crafting profession 2029 Online allows any character to visit an NPC with the correct materials and gamble on having a weapon or item refined for them, the results are always unknown until the item is given back to the player.

Alongside the refining is the compounding system, where an item can be presented to an NPC with the correct materials and have it enhanced.

Quests

Quests play a large part in 2029 Online, following the main quest lines will aid levelling and make progression through the 2029 world easier by directing the player in to areas best suited for their level/ability. Quest rewards vary and the player is given a choice of rewards upon quest completion.

When a quest is too tough to be completed solo and you can't find anyone to form a party with, you can call a mercenary into battle to fight by your side. The Mercenary System allows you to hire a single mercenary solider or even a whole group of them to be your strong-armed backup and take your enemies down.

PvP

After you open the PK system, the character name will be displayed in white if the character is not attacking other players actively. When a white-status player attacks another player, his name will change to yellow, changing again to red when the target is killed. At the same time, Dishonor Points will be earned. However, if a white-status player kills a yellow-status player, the killer's name won't change to red. The more kills you achieve, the more Dishonor Points you will earn and your name will change to a deeper red colour.

When you reach level 40, you can choose the 'All Mode'. In this mode, you can attack other players randomly, so pay attention to your PK status in different situations.

All players begin with zero Dishonor Points. Once you successfully kill a white-status player, your Dishonor Points will be increased by more than 100. The number of Dishonor Points you earn relates to the difference between yours and your opponent's level. The number of Dishonor Points can be reduced by 1 for each minute you are online.

Players have a high chance of losing items when they are killed by other players. Red-status players have the highest probability of losing items and white-status players have the lowest. Red name players are highly likely to lose equipment. When a player’s Dishonor Points reach 1000, he will become a Demon King (It will not be displayed) and he will have a 100% chance of losing items and a high chance to lose equipment if killed.

Players are free to switch the PK mode between "Peace", "All", "Party", "Justice" and "Guild" in order not to injure others by mistake. Peace Mode: Your attacks will not injure any player. All Mode: Your attacks will injure all players. Party Mode: Your attack will injure other players except your team mates. Justice Mode: Your attack will only injure yellow and red players. Guild Mode: Your attack will injure all other players except your guild members.

Lore

The story of 2029 Online centers around a galactic inter-species discord on an alien planet called Helen Continent. Conflict has become entrenched, as each culture refuses to back down and fights for its own survival and domination. As the foundations of justice and order crumble, a mass of brave people have risen up to defend peace on this war-stricken planet.

Additional Information

Weapons and equipment lose durability when used so it is important to note that you should return to a repair NPC once in a while.
