Connecting to 4Story using Windows Vista
I know i have had this problem along with many of my friends. When you go to try to connect to 4Story and download the updates, it says it fails to connect or something of that sort. It took a while and a bit of experimenting to come up with solutions to this problem.
Well, here they are:
1)Right click on the 4Story ican and click properties. Go to compatibility and in the drop down menu, selct Run in compatibility for Windows XP Service Pack 2.
*Note: Make sure you choose service pack 2, choosing any other form may cause the
launcher to crash.
2) Make sure you do no have X-Fire running. This will allow you to install the updates, but will not allow the game to properly launch. You will come across a black screen and that is it.
