Character Development
Chaos Online offers a character leveling system in which the player quests and kills to gain experience points that ultimately levels them up.
Some skills and spells are specific to the individual factions, therefore, the faction a player chooses plays a large role in the way their character develops and the abilities that they end up with.
Social/Class/Guild Structure
Players can play solo, join other players in a party/small group, or join a guild.
Combat/Skills
Chaos' combat system is point and click and a player gains different skills as they level up depending on their profession and their faction.
Crafting Professions
The crafting system in Chaos Online is called forging, a player gathers ingredients and materials to create an item or weapon. A player makes crystals using the 'composing' system, those crystals are then used when forging a weapon to increase its stats/abilities.
Quests
PvP
The PvP system in Chaos Online is optional for the main part, if a player wishes to allow other players to attack them they can select that option.
There are faction wars in Chaos Online, these happen at different times of the day, and provide players with an opportunity to engage in combat with other players.

Chaos online has an ingame 'bot' or 'robot' system that allows a player to train their character's skills and professions while away from the keyboard without danger of reprisal.
Chaos Online offers a crossover of fantasy with science fiction, players can find themselves swinging a sword while riding a motorbike or shooting a lazer gun while riding a horse.
This game is also known as Divine Tears Online.
