Making A Weapon
With 'making a weapon' you change your weapon into a imperial weapon. This will increase the weapons physical and magical attack power by 10%. Before you do this check what kind of imperial weapon it will change into. If you have for example a g53 Diamond Pain Bow and you make it imperial you will get a g53 Imperial Diamond Bow of Phantom. Which is not great when your an Expert Archer for most players.
Q >
What items must I use for making a new weapon?
A > Go to the Mix Master and press the "I like to see the mixing items list" to see this list:
The 2 elemental stones can be bought are Stone of Demon Blood and Stone of Mystery in the
KalShop with Kalcash (=real money). Also the stones can be bought in private shops. Best is to buy the Stones of Mystery because they are cheaper and it does not make any difference in succeeding.
Instead of using a second weapon for mixing you can also use a 'Demon Sword' as replacement. You need multiple Demon Swords to do so. The higher the grade weapon gets the more Demon Swords it will need.
There are also stones that are dropped by monsters that you can use. Those are:
Stone of Shadow/Holy/Flame/Ice/Lightening/Poison/Paralysis/Strength and Skill.
These stones are worth lot of Geons. So it is better to buy 2 Mystery or Demon stones.
Q >
Alright I got the parts what now?
A > Press the "make new weapon" line. You will then see this window:
Open your inventory then drag the items into the slots. The "main item" slot is where you place your weapon in you want to make Imperial. The others the rest of the parts.
Then press mix and it will confirm if you want to mix and the price of 30000 geons to do so.
When it fails you will lose the stones, Geons and if you use Demon Swords as replacement for the sub weapon, it will be gone too. You will keep the armor part, you main weapon and if you did not use the replacement Demon Sword then you will also keep the second weapon.
When it succeeds it will consume all the parts and give you your Imperial Weapon. All of the pimped stats will then still be on that weapon. Example, if you mix a 11/11/3 Kings G48 Red bow, you will get a 11/11/3 Kings Imperial G48 Blue Bow as result.
Q >
What are the chances to succeed mixing?
A > Small quote from xxChad who contacted the KAL GM's for the success rates:
GM's said my bow had a 2-3% chance of succeeding (a g59 weapon)
G50 was 35%
53 is 20%
I didn't ask for 56, but i assume around 10%
By this I can only assume what the others would be, I think it probably will look something like this:
G40 - G45 Mix Chance 50%
G48 - G50 Mix Chance 40%
G50 Mix Chance 35%
G53 Mix Chance 20%
G56 Mix Chance 10%
G59 Mix Chance 2-3%
I hope that we one day we get the official mix chances, if you pay for mixing with KalCash then it can be expensive if it keeps failing. It would be nice to know where you get yourself into.
