merchanting
Hello everyone! I have written this guide because after looking at all the guides I see no guides for the best money making technique in the game, being a merchant. (Yes I’m sorry to say it is NOT fishing at night)
The first part I will discuss is the most important rule of merchanting BUY LOW SELL HIGH!!! If you can’t do that forget about being a merchant and go fish at night. For all you less smart people out there this means that if you were to buy a g40 bow for 50k, you should sell it for 100k, 50k profit right there. You should always be looking around areas such as temporary fort where people are ALWAYS desperate to sell things sometimes. Some things I have seen in temporary fort that I have merchanted:
G12 panther: bought for 900k sold for 1.1 mil
G12 tiger: bought 950k got my g10 tiger to hatch than sold that for 1 mil,(50k profit) and free grade on egg)
G45 10/10 expert knights PoL bought for 950k, didn’t sell im using it when I get to 40 =P but worth 1.3 mil minimum (been emrchanting for 2 days)
The second thing in this guide will be about weapons (yes you can make a significant amount from this)
First step is buying a clean cheap weapon (g45 g48 works best) what you want to do is pimp it, but not to high put 10 attack talismans on it, a decent toi (nothing fancy like steely) and maybe 5-8 EB, than you sell it in you store, some examples of this I have done:
Savage tribes treasure sword clean 125k, spent 250k pimping sold it for 800k (don’t know what idiot did that) but that’s a good chunk of money for level 30-40 knights like me, especially because we cant solo harder monsters like archers and mages who party up in super high areas.
This third location will talk about location
Location is a key factor in whether your items will be sold or not, if you think about where are you more likely to sell a pimped g45 sword next to the knights skill person or the Smith in Temporary fort, answer smith because while most people do sell character related weapons and amour around the skill person for that class because the knight person is not in direct path with running it gets very few visitors, while the smith gets people who want eb to go there and the storage keeper people (it also known for having weapons sold there) so basically make sure you’re selling in an appropriate place to sell your items. (also don’t sell outside on the ramp…its probably the most popular place but think of all the assassins that kill people there and you never know when you’ll be victim to a doggebi lure)
Extra benefits for merchanting: I used to do the old fish at night and sell fish when you get a chance thing, but it never got me more than 40k even on the best of days, I would also be disconnected far too much to get decent egg percentage. Once I started to merchant I made 2 mill easily and I got my mage full accessories (+4 wisdom belt, ring, and scholar trinket) and my knight +4 health knight trinket, and +4 str ring. Another benefit is the I almost never disconnect anymore ( I don’t know how that works, but I don’t care) and I get a lot more egg xp.
I hope you enjoyed this guide, pm me (woofdoggy) if you have questions or want some advice, but I might have my shop open so a response won’t be instant,
P.S having a flag helps
