At approximately 2am (GMT) on Saturday 9th Feb WorldPay completed a planned upgrade of their payment systems. Whilst no impact was anticipated for COG Player Accounts System (PAS) it has been discovered that the upgrade has broken several parts of the WorldPay payment systems that COG PAS makes use of.
As there is currently no ETA on a fix we have decided to withdraw the WorldPay payment option for both subscription payments and micro payments until a fix has been confirmed and tested to our satisfaction. Existing subscription payment agreements should be unaffected and players will be billed as normal.
Players wishing to make micro payment purchases will be required for the mean time to use Click & Buy
We are working to assist WorldPay in fixing their system issues, and we hope to switch WorldPay back on as an option as soon as those fixes are completed.
