Server Rollback and a Time of Chaos
Attention MUtizens-
We will be rolling back the game servers to April 1st, the date where the game economy began to show negative signs, so that the integrity of the game market will be returned to normal.
Starting tomorrow mid-day, April 8th, we will be taking the servers down and implementing a major patch that should take care of this and other recent hack issues. You will certainly notice a difference in the amount of hacks and 3rd party programs that will be blocked by this upcoming patch. This will be done tomorrow and when the servers go back up, the changes will be implemented.
This being said, we are very aware of the confusion and frustration a rollback can cause and we will be compensating players for their lost time (both P2P and F2P). Details will be included in the official announcement tomorrow mid-day. We apologize for this very drastic move, but in order to keep the game economy from further harm and fix it, this is the only measure left. Compensation will also address both the EXP "lost" and the medal event that took place over the last several days.
So, from now until tomorrow mid-day (PST), there will be an impromptu "Time of Chaos"(the GMO old-schoolers know what this is). Any action you take in the game will be erased between now and then, so it is exactly what the title implies: A time of Chaos. Any illegal programs used WILL be considered violations, and as always, the rules for appropriate communication will be strongly enforced. Take the next few hours to PK as much as you want. All trades, sales, and CM combinations will also be rolled back, so please be aware of this.
The full details of the patch and the compensation for all players will be announced in the official post tomorrow. We apologize for the confusion, but look forward to tomorrow afternoon, where a great many of these hacks will be addressed. Thanks for your patience and understanding, as always.
