This guide is aimed at efficient questing and exping for lvls 1-10.
Names of NPCs,nature of quests and rewards are to the best of my knowledge(NPC names or quest reward may differ-at which point,feel free to correct it).Its quite a lengthy read,so I'm keeping my sentences short.
Birth Island : Lvl 1-3
-Upon spawning,talk to the Fairy of Arua[Visitor Guide].Go thru every listed option.U'll be rewarded both in terms of exp and items progressively.By the end of it,u should receive Visitor Sandals,10 apples,10 bananas,5 Thin Insect Skins and enuff exp to break thru to lvl 2(yay!).
Not bad for just several clicks of the mouse.
-Next do the 3 quests given by the fairy.
1)Requires u to kill 3 mini-jelly beans for a reward of 200+zulie and 10 grapes.
2)Requires u to kill 4 mini-choropies for a reward of 250+zulie and 8 Kiwis.
3)Requires u to kill 8 mini-choropies or choropies for a reward of 400+zulie and 20 bananas.
-By the time u complete the 3 quests,u should have gained enuff exp to get u to lvl 3(yay! again).
-U should by now,have 10apples,30bananas,10grapes,8 Kiwis and abt 1.1k+ zulie for ur trip to the big world.
-Now go to the fairy and opt to get out of there,ur done with that place.
Adventurer's Plain : Lvl 3-10
-Head for the Village Chief,Gray.
-Get from him three quests:-
1)Gathering of Jelly Bean Skins - Off Jelly Beans and Jelly Nuts
2)Gathering of Spools of Thread - Off Mini-Choropies and Choropies
3)Gathering of Flanae Petals - Off Flanaes and Elder Flanaes
-Talk to Myad and ask for his help.He'll reward u with fruits.U can get free fruits from him at every level from 1 to 8.He'll give u ample fruits to lasts u till at least to ur teen lvls.Just remember to ask from him at every level,thus hunt near/around the viallge.
-Hunt near the village for mini-choropies/choropies and jelly beans.Why?Coz the spools of thread quest caps at 29 spools.So once u have 29 spools,go to Gray for turn in and get the quest again.Reward is abt 740+zulie.(Not sure abt caps for jelly bean.Highest I gotten with jelly bean was 185 skins and that was still not the cap!Flanae petals caps at 32.).Keep doing the mini-choropies/choropies quests till u hit lvl 7.
-Once u hit lvl 7,if u still have not gotten any decent weapon yet,invest in a bamboo spear(abt 200+z).
-Head to Myad,and do the episode quest aka the mushroom epidemic quest aka 'drop the goddamn key already,ya ass!' quest.
-Now,talk to Seyon,then head to mushroom patch,talk to myad again..yada yada yada...(For full quest detail/guide,refer to the episode quest guide in one of the other threads).
-When Myad asks u to go see Karite in Valley of Luxem Tower,before going there,get 2 quests first.One from Village Chief Gray.Something abt a box of clams to be given to Francis[co-founder of Junon Order} in Zant,and another one from Seyon,get the daily price list from him to be given to Ulysse(merchant nearest bank,look for NPC thats being swamped by dealers) in Zant too.
-Now go see Karite and she'll ask u to get 10 pumpkin seeds.Kill pumpkins(not big,not elder,not cowboy,just pumpkins).Could be a handful at lvl 7,but its doable(I know,I tried). After u gotten 10 pumpkin seeds,before turning in to Karite,head over to Zant.
-Find Francis.He's at the bottom left hand side on ur minimap upon entering Zant.He's an anti-social old fart who lives alone atop a hill,sorta.Turn in the box of clams to him and receive a pair of waterproof shoes(pretty decent..umm...vendor fodder),and a letter of appointment to be given back to Gray.Not sure if u get any exp...can't remember.
-Next give the daily price list to Ulyssse for some nice exp(abt 400+ depending on ur lvl),and he'll ask if u can bring his daily price to Seyon.Say yes,naturally.
-Now do whatever u have to do(shop,window shop,appraise etc) then go to Luxem Tower and see Karite to turn in the pumpkin seeds.
-Karite will give u soil of purification and 2 anecdotes.
-Rush back to Adventurer's plain,go to the mushroom patch,go see Myad,go see Pony(the boy merchant),go see Ronk(the big bear),and go see Myad again to be rewarded with exp,10 oranges and a complete armor set(yea,look sucky but they're free....sheesh).Now go to Gary[Village Chief] to hand in his letter of appointment and recieve abt 700+zulies and a (+1) Vital Jam.
-Go to Seyon and give him the Ulysse's daily price list for some nice exp.Accept to bring the price list back to Ulysse again(ur going to Zant again soon for job change after all).
-By this time,u should be lvl 7-9.Go hunt jellybeans,choropies,flanes
for the 3 gathering quests from Gray till u reach lvl 10.
-At lvl 10,u can turn in all the 3 quests back to Gray for the respective rewards and start on ur job change quest or u can,like me, hang on to them for a bit longer.
-At lvl 10,when u go to Zant to see Warren,don't forget to give Seyon's price list to Ulysse for some nice exp.If u plan to head back to Adventurer's Plain,get the price list quest from him again.
-Do ur job change quest as per required,then head to Adventurer's Plain for one last time(for a while anyways).
-At lvl 10,Adventurer's Plain still gives pretty decent exp.So u could still work on the 3 gathering quests for a bit.
-See Seyon and give him the price list(get the price list quest again,Zant will be ur next home for several lvls from now anyway),and then see Gray and hand in all 3 gathering quests for their respective rewards.And ur done with that place.;o)
Some additional notes:-
1)From lvls 1-10,when ur low in hps,sit and rest.Coz ur hp is pretty much very low so u don't have to sit long to regain it(of coz,at the point this guide is written,there is the sitting bug thing going on... tsk tsk).Only use the food if ur dangerously low on hp during fights.The foods will come in handy at ur later lvls.
2)The price list quests(Seyon/Ulysse) is a very good and easy quests which gives decent exp(Thus why I do them at every opportunity).
3)The above guide was written and practised by myself,all I had to purchase was the bamboo spear.So as u can see,if u play ur cards right,u don't need to spend so much money.As a matter of fact,they available quests and its rewards are more than sufficient to equip u for the the next stage of ur adventures.
4)There are of coz,various other ways to lvl and gain exp/rewards,but I found the above way to be most exp/reward/zulie efficient.
