SRO Quest Guide
Special Note: During the making of this guide, mooni3 and I created new "quest characters" to re-run the quests.
We stumbled upon a cool penalty system from SRO that through my years of MMO, this is the first ever. When you've
just level up and unfortunately died, YOU COULD BE REVERT BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS LEVEL! Everything remains the same
except the fact that you need to earn back those penalized exp. Quite cool to see mooni3 pissed off with that! v

Level 1 - 2 (But you should be level 3 at least by the time you finish)
Quest: "General's Blah Blah Blah" Chinese Tutorial
NPC: General SonHyeon, West Chang'An, Infront of building beside west gate.
Details: 4 parts of draggy walk around "know the neighbourhood" quest.
Part 1: Talk to General SonHyeon, run and talk to Protector Merchant, JangBuin. Return to General.
Part 2: Talk to General SonHyeon again, run and talk to General Store Clerk, JinJin. Get Ring, equip, talk to her again. Return to General.
Part 3: Talk to General SonHyeon AGAIN, given 200 gold, run and talk to Herbalist YangYun, BUY 1 herb and return to General.
Part 4: Talk to General SonHyeon (GOSH), go out kill 30 Mangryang, return and talk to General for the last time and get rewards.
Rewards:
Part 1 - 60 Exp, Glove (of your choosen armor kind).
Part 2 - 60 Exp, Ume Copper Ring.
Part 3 - 60 Exp, "140 Gold" (remaining gold from herb purchase).
Part 4 - 350 Exp, Shoulder Armor (of your choosen armor kind), 30 Herbs.
Quest: Lost Child
NPC: Hwang Nodu, Village Chief, East Chang'An.
Details: Hunt Small Eye Monster(Big Eye should be good too) for quest item "Child's Shoe". Return to Chief for rewards.
Rewards: 375 Exp, 475 Gold.
Quest: Weapon Dealer's Letter (Unlocked after doing General's blah blah quest)
NPC: CheolHyeon, Blacksmith, Central Chang'An. JingYeon, Guard, Southern Gate Chang'An.
Details: Talk to Blacksmith, get "letter". Run and talk to Guard, get ANOTHER "letter". Return to Blacksmith, get reward.
Rewards: 225 Exp, 205 Gold.
Level 3
Quest: Battle With GyoJok.
NPC: IYang, Guard, Eastern Gate Chang'An.
Details: Get out of town, look for Old Gyo/Gyo(Changed name to Weasel) and kill 40 of them. Return to Guard IYang.
Rewards: 1900 Exp, 1000 Gold.
Level 4
Quest: Newbie's Day! Holiday.
NPC: None. Everyone's on holiday.
Details: Take a break. You should be at least level 5 from the previous quest anyway.
Rewards: A good rest.
Level 5
Quest: YangYun's Anxiety.
NPC: YangYun, Herbalist, Central Chang'An.
Details: Go Kill 50 Water Ghost/Water Ghost Slave. They are outside the Northern part of the city. Return to YangYun.
Rewards: 3800 Exp, 28 Herb.
Level 6
Quest: Water Ghost's Poison. (Linked with YangYun's Anxiety Quest)
NPC: YangYun, Herbalist, Central Chang'An.
Details: Kill Water Ghosts/Water Ghost slaves and collect 20 "Water Ghost Poison".
Rewards: 6600 Exp, 4000 Skill EXP, 50 MP Herbs.
Level 7
Quest: Sweeping SeokJeongGwi.
NPC: SangGwanNam, Guard, Eastern Gate Chang'An.
Details: Kill 40 Stone Ghosts/Broken Stone Ghosts (Stone lion looking). They are found together with TombStone Monsters at "Tomb"(SE Chang'An) or "Chin's Tomb"(NE Chang'An). "Tomb" area have more aggro so beware.
Rewards: 4500 Exp, 1900 Gold.
Quest: Clear BiSeokGwi.
NPC: JeongHye, Buddist Priest of Jaeun Temple, Eastern Chang'An.
Details: Kill TombStone Monsters until you get all the 8 individual pieces of stones. Extra stones are fine.
Rewards: 10500 Exp, 3800 Gold, 1 Item "Red Horse". Extra stones will be awarded with extra Exp & Gold (Each stone = 100 Exp + 125 Gold).
Hint: Stones traded/exchanged must be dropped and pick up again to be "recognised" - info by mooni3
Level 8
Quest: Tree Spirit.
NPC: MyoSorYeong, Exorcist, Western OUTSIDE Chang'An, "Exorcist's Home". *Press "M" and refer to map.*
Details: Keep killing Yeoha/Rotten Tree Yeoha and collect 30 bottles of "Yeoha's Black Blood". Return to Exorcist for rewards.
Rewards: A piece of weapon from your choosen class. (1 Handed: Lancer Bronze Sword, 2 Handed Melee: Middle Bronze Spear, 2 Handed Range: ??? bow.)
Level 9
Quest: Adventurer's Stone.
NPC: Flora, Chang'An's Adventurer, Southern Chang'An along Specialities Shops.
Details: Collect 20 "Adventurer's Stones" from Stone Ghosts and give them to Flora.
Rewards: 5000 Exp, 3500 Gold, 1 Item "Adventurer's Shift Scroll"
*Note* Adventurer's Shift Scroll - Increases movement speed by 20% for 1 hour.
Level 10
Quest: Sweeping Bandit Archer.
NPC: JuHo, Soldier, Military Camp - NorthWest Chang'An.
Details: Kill 50 Bandits Archers around the southern part of BijeokdanUi Mountain Stronghold and return to Juho for rewards.
Rewards: 9500 Exp, 50 MP Herbs.
Quest: Purification of Ground. (Must complete "Tree Spirit" to unlock)
NPC: MyoSorYeong, Exorcist, Western OUTSIDE Chang'An, "Exorcist's Home".
Details: Obtain a "Yeoha's Black Blood" from Exorcist after talking to him again and proceed to Chang'An and talk to Indian Buddhist Monk Kushyan.
Rewards: 12700 Exp, 4000 Gold, 4500 Skill EXP.
Level 11
Quest: Bandit's Operational Map. (Complete "Sweeping Bandit Archer" to unlock)
NPC: JuHo, Soldier, Military Camp - NorthWest Chang'An.
Details: Hunt Bandits/Bandit Archers and collect 20 "Operational Maps" and return to Juho.
Rewards: 28200 Exp, 8300 Gold, 10000 Skill EXP.
Level 12
Quest: Holiday? Or did I miss out on this?
NPC: hmmmm...
Details: Sleeping time?
Rewards: A good sleep.
Level 13
Quest: Sweeping Bandit. (Must complete "Sweeping Bandit Archer" to unlock)
NPC: LeeBaekRyong (Guild Manager), Soldier, Military Camp - NorthWest Chang'An.
Details: Kill 50 Bandits/Bandit Subordinates around the southern part of BijeokdanUi Mountain Stronghold and return to Guild Manager for rewards.
Rewards: 14500 Exp, 50 Vigor Herbs.
Quest: Tiger's Grinding Tooth.
NPC: JoDaeSan, Specialities Merchant - Trader Shop, Central/Southern Chang'An.
Details: Collect 10 "Molar Teeth" of Tigers and return to Jodaesan.
Rewards: 15300 Exp, 4000 Gold, 5000 Skill EXP.
Quest: Tiger Hunting Competition. (Repeatable quest 3 times)
NPC: General SonHyeon, West Chang'An.
Details:
1) Kill 1 Champion Tiger, 20 Tigers and 20 Young Tigers.
2) Kill 3 Champion Tigers, 30 Tigers and 30 Young Tigers. (Unlocked by completing quest 1)
3) Kill 5 Champion Tigers, 40 Tigers and 40 Young Tigers. (Unlocked by completing quest 2)
Rewards:
1) 6700 Exp, 2050 Skill EXP, 63 HP Recovery Potions (small).
2) 10500 Exp, 3600 Gold, 3200 Skill EXP
3) 15800 Exp, 4300 Skill EXP, 1 Items "Tiger's Violence".
*Note* Tiger Violence - Increases damage by 20% for 1 hour.

Level 14
Quest: Another Holiday!
NPC: Everybody'shopping in Chang'An. You should too!
Details: Heard that there's a sale going on.
Rewards: Bags and bags of goodies purchased, hope you're not scammed by badass merchants.
Level 15
Quest: CheolHyeon's Anger. (Must complete Bandits Quests to unlock)
NPC: CheolHyeon, Blacksmith, Central Chang'An.
Details: Hunt 200 Bandit Bowmen(Those in Bandit fort i suppose) and return to Blacksmith.
Rewards: 26500 Exp, 10000 Skill EXP, 1 item "First-class Transsexual tool"
*Note* Transsexual tool - Change any defensive item under 3 degree gender (eg. male garment into female garment)
Level 16
Quest: Hunting White Tiger.
NPC: MaChun, Stable Keeper of Chang'An.
Details: Hunt 40 White Tigers and return to MaChun
Rewards: 12500 Exp, Gold 4300.
Quest: Stolen Sword.
NPC: Gwakvi, Escort Soldier of Chang'An.
Details: Keep killing Bandits until you get the (Yes, ONE) stolen sword.. or gets on your nerves..
Rewards: 18800 Exp, 5050 Gold, 5000 Skill points.

Level 17
Quest: Herb Delivery.
NPC: YangYun, Chang'An Herbalist. Chau, Ferry ticket seller, Chinese Western Ferry.
Details: Deliver a packet of herbs to Ferry ticker seller "Chau" at Chinese Western Ferry and return to YangYun.
Rewards: 14400 Exp, 3800 Gold, 3600 Skill EXP.
Quest: YangYun's Request. (Must complete "Herb Delivery" to unlock)
NPC: YangYun, Chang'An Herbalist. Chau, Ferry ticket seller, Chinese Western Ferry. Doji, Ferry ticket seller, Chinese Eastern Ferry.
Details: Delivery 2 books to Doji at Eastern Ferry and Chau at Western Ferry. Return to YangYun for rewards.
Rewards: 18000 Exp, 4500 Skill EXP, 125 MP Potions.
Quest: Black Tiger's Claw. (Must complete "Adventurer's Stone" to unlock)
NPC: Flora, Chang'An Adventurer.
Details: Collect 60 Black Tiger Claws and return to Flora.
Rewards: 60000 Exp, 15000 Skill EXP, 15700 Gold.
Level 18
Quest: White Tiger Skin Quest 1 & 2. (Must complete "Tiger's Grinding Teeth" to unlock)
NPC: Jodesan, Specialities Merchant of Chang'An
Details: Collect 100 White Tiger Skin and return to Jodesan.
Rewards 1: 42300 Exp, 10000 Skill EXP, 10900 Gold.
Rewards 2: 42300 Exp, 10000 Skill EXP, 10900 Gold.
Quest: White Tiger Skin. (Quest 3? Requires "White Tiger Skin Quest 1 & 2" to Unlock.)
NPC: Jodesan, Specialities Merchant of Chang'An. He won't have the "Quest" icon on his head but talk to him again after quest 2, he will tell you about some delay in some goods.
Details: Collect 200 White Tiger Skin and return to Jodesan.
Rewards: 84600 Exp, 20000 Skill EXP, 1 Item "Tiger Strength Scroll"
*Note* Tiger Strength Scroll - Absorb 20% damage for 1 hour.
Level 19
Quest: Ghost Bug's Eggs
NPC: Bori, Herbalist, ThunHuang.
Details: Hunt Ghost Bugs and collect 10 "Ghost Bug Eggs"
Rewards: 14800 Exp, 3800 Gold.
Quest: Folk Rememdy
NPC: Chau, Ferry Ticket Seller, Chinese Western Ferry.
Details: Hunt Chakji/Chakji Workers and collect 100 Chakji eyes.
Rewards: 112000 Exp, 25000 Skill EXP, 28500 Gold,
Quest: Chakji Hunting (Link Chakji Skin??? Or eyes?)
NPC: Haguek, Ferry Ticket Seller, Seoyeok's Western Ferry.
Details: Hunt and kill 600 (damn.. 600?! this guy crazy?) Chakji/Chakji Worker and return to Haguek.
Rewards: 141000, 30000 Skill EXP, 1 Item "Reverse Return" scroll
*Note* Reverse Return - Return to the original spot that you casted your "returning scroll", place of death or "/Save
" command, which have not been implemented yet.
Level 20
Quest: Resuscitation Potion Quest. *Unlimited amount of quest* (Skill reset potion)
NPC: Herbalist of ALL Cities.
Details: Go to any of the herbalist to activate this quest for "skill points reset". Collect 10 Hearts and return to any herbalist to "make" Resuscitation potion. Each potion only reset 1 skill(Not mastery I think? Please let me know if mastery could be reset).
Rewards: 1 Resuscitation Potion per 10 hearts. (30 hearts = 3 potions)
*Note* A player can carry up to 30 Resuscitation potions at anytime. Potions cannot be put for sale on player shop nor traded. Only refunds 80% of SP (If X skill requires 100 SP to learn, 80 SP will be refunded.)
Level 21
Quest: Hyungno's Revengeful Spirit
NPC: Priest Fa, Buddhist Monk in ThunHuang
Details: Kill 30 Hyungno Ghosts and return to Priest Fa.
Rewards: 12000 Exp, Gold 3000.
Quest: Leegak's Secret (Requires "Ghost Bug's Eggs" quest completed to unlock)
NPC: Leegak, Trade Shop Merchant, Specialities Shops ThunHuang
Details: Hunt Ghost Bugs/Devil Bugs and gather 150 Ghost Bug's Eggs and return to Leegak.
Rewards: 150000 Exp, 30000 Skill EXP, 37000 Gold.
Level 22
Quest: Reconcillation mood. (Requires "Leegak's Secret" quest completed to unlock)
NPC: Leeguek, Merchant Guild NPC, ThunHuang.
Details: Kill Devil Bugs to collect 100 Devil Bug's Wings and return to Leeguek.
Rewards: 132000 Exp, 25000 Skill EXP, 1 Items "Wing's Gesture".
*Note* Wing's Gesture - 20% increase evasion rate for 1 hour.
Level 23
Quest: Demon Horse's Malice.
NPC: Makgo, Stable Merchant, ThunHuang.
Details: Kill 60 Demon Horses/Devil Horses and return to Makgo.
Rewards: 19800 Exp, 4800 Gold.
Quest: Memorial Service for Horse.
NPC: Makgo, Stable Merchant, ThunHuang.
Details: Hunt Demon Horses and collect 50 hooves of Demon Horse "horseshoes" and return to Makgo.
Rewards: 158000 Exp, 35000 Gold, 25000 Skill EXP.
Quest: Trickery
NPC: Moho, Guard, East Gate of ThunHuang.
Details: Hunt Hyungno Ghosts SOLDIERS and collect 200 Flags of Hyungno Ghosts Soldiers and return to Moho.
Rewards: 211000 Exp, 40000 Skill EXP.
Level 24
Quest: Flying Man Over Running Man. (Complete Trickery to unlock)
NPC: Hahun, Guard, East Gate of ThunHuang.
Details: Hunt Hyungno Ghosts (NOT SOLDIERS) and collect 200 Flags of Hyungno Ghosts and return to Hahun.
Rewards: 237000 Exp, 40000 Skill EXP.
Quest: Martial Art Tournament. (Complete Flying man over running man to unlock)
NPC: Hahun, Guard, East Gate of ThunHuang.
Details: Deliver 2 "tournament application" scrolls to General SonHyeon.
Rewards: 107000 EXP, 3000 Skill EXP, 250 HP Pots (Medium).
*NOTE* Cannot use town portal teleport or returning scrolls.
